Ornamental hearts with a stand - Shop

These bright and cheerful fused glass hearts have been handcrafted by myself in Wiltshire, using Bullseye COE90 glass.

The glass has been fired in a kiln up to 1,450°F to fuse the glass pieces together permanently.
The firing process, including cooling, takes approximately 25 hours.

The stripy hearts are more involved to make.
The first firing process needs a temperature of up to 1,500°F to fuse 6 layers of glass together permanently.
This first firing, including cooling, takes 18 hours approximately .

The glass is then fired again at a temperature of up to 1,500°F to gently shape it.
This second firing, including cooling, takes a further 20 hours approximately.

The hearts are approximately 5cm in size.

They come with a little acrylic stand, so can be stood up to display or can sit flat, as their reverse side is flat.

As each piece is handcrafted, they are all unique - no two are the same.

I have a range of different designs/different colours, and more will follow as soon as I have made them.
