Not all Murano glass, but a lot of Murano glass is lined with 24k yellow gold, white gold or sterling silver foil/leaf, which adds to the beauty of the glass.

The Murano glass beads and sterling silver findings have been bought from trusted, reputable suppliers in the UK, and the ear-rings have then been made by myself.

By the very nature of sterling silver, there is no way to protect it from tarnishing because sterling silver reacts with so many materials found in everyday life. The best way to reduce tarnish build-up is to actually wear your sterling silver jewellery often. When sterling silver is not worn it tarnishes quickly. Unavoidable I'm afraid, but perfectly normal and nothing to be concerned by, and it can easily be removed with a silver polishing cloth or polishing cream.
