Nature is not perfect. Many natural shells have minor inclusions in them, which is perfectly normal and do not make the shells defective. Please be aware therefore, that if you require perfection, these are not for you. Nature is not perfect and no two pieces are identical.

Sterling silver and double sided Abalone shell drop earrings.

These earrings are handmade by myself.

Choice of ear wires available - use the drop-down tab to select your preference, and the earrings will then be finished off by adding your chosen wires.

By the very nature of sterling silver, there is no way to protect it from tarnishing because sterling silver reacts with so many materials found in everyday life. The best way to reduce tarnish build-up is to actually wear your sterling silver jewellery often. When sterling silver is not worn it tarnishes quickly. Unavoidable I'm afraid, but perfectly normal and nothing to be concerned by, and it can easily be removed with a silver polishing cloth or polishing cream.
